About Our Crayfish
Captive-bred Procambarus in colors you have to see to believe.
Captive-bred Procambarus in colors you have to see to believe.
Every crayfish we sell is captive-bred and raised in our own systems, conditioned, well-fed, and selected for strong color before it ever ships. No wild-caught mystery animals, no faded culls.
We specialize in two species of Procambarus, the most colorful and personable freshwater crayfish in the hobby.
Native to Florida, Procambarus alleni is famous for the Electric Blue morph, a saturated, almost unreal cobalt that makes it one of the most requested invertebrates in the hobby. The White Spectre morph trades that blue for a ghostly porcelain white.
Alleni are hardy, active, and grow to roughly 4-5 inches. They tolerate a wide range of water conditions, which makes them an excellent first crayfish.
Procambarus clarkii is the species behind our Ghost morphs. Blue Ghost and Orange Ghost crayfish carry marbled, translucent patterning over vivid base color, and no two ever look alike.
Clarkii are slightly larger and bolder than alleni, reaching 4-6 inches. They're voracious, entertaining, and shockingly smart about finding food, and escape routes, which is why we preach secure lids.
